Bernard Allison was born in 1965 in Chicago and got the blues by his father Luther Allison experienced first hand from childhood.On several blues festivals he learned in the company of his father's blues greats like Hound Dog Taylor, Albert King or Muddy Waters know. At 13, he played for the first time with his father on stage. After graduating from high school Bernard Allison played until 1985 in Koko Taylor's touring band.

 

1989 took Bernard to his father to Paris and became a member of Luther Allison's touring band. Father Allison gave his son for Christmas 1989 recording times in a studio and it came with "The Next Generation" for the first album. Was recorded the album with his father belt. Luther Allison plays on this album Harp.

 

The name Allison obliged. Bernard is now the first set of blues musicians. With a mix of Steve Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter and Luther Allison, enriched with elements of funk and rock, Bernard created his own style. His sparkling optimism and enthusiasm jumps to the audience and make each concert special.
